It is a remarkable thing that people still choose to attend live sports events, event though everything is better on TV except for the sense of being there, and being in a crowd.

Imagine if there were so many cameras at the venue that anyone jacked in to the Now could choose their own unique 3D perspective of the action?

This is definitely a view that will happen one day, and tapping into a universal delivery system would be the most efficient means. Sure, TV might offer various options, but only the Now will allow you to wander around the entire stadium as if you were there.

Shortcuts will need to be developed to allow quick access to the best viewing angles, but aside from that it is just the Now with extra cameras. And certainly a premium could be charged.

Those VIP viewers would have the best seats in the house…. with the exception of umpires who surely would have the finest-grained access possible.

A VR participant (at home) could wield a bat and try to hit the pitch of a real pro pro pitcher. In fact thousands of VR batsman could try to hit the same pitch at the same time….
